Linsey Billing is the Head of the Science, Innovation and Technology Team within Global Economic Issues Department in the FCDO. Her role focuses on promoting UK leadership on science and innovation to boost UK prosperity. This includes oversight of the UK’s global Science and Innovation Network and leading on the prosperity aspects of emerging technology engagement. Linsey joined the Civil Service in 2008 at the Department for Education where she held a number of roles, spanning capital funding, Free Schools and the Computing curriculum.
