Dr Luisa Corrado is Research Fellow at the Centre for International Macroeconomics & Finance and the Centre of Microeconomics at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge. She is currently a Associate Professor and coordinator of the Ph.D. in Economics, Law and Institutions at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Her research interests include: Regional Convergence, Optimal Monetary Policy, International Monetary Economics, Economics of Exchange Rates, Regional Growth, Macroeconometrics, Hierarchical Modelling, and Well-Being Analysis.
Before taking up her current post Dr Corrado was an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Before that she held posts here at Cambridge and she has been visiting at the London School of Economics.
She got her Bachelor Degree in Economics, her M.Sc. in Economics and Management of Technological Change and Internationalisation Processes, and her Doctoral Degree in Economics and Institutions of Monetary and Financial Markets from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, before going to the University of Warwick to a PhD in Economics.
