Dr Nomisha Kurian, Associate Fellow, Cambridge Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence

Dr Kurian researches how Artificial Intelligence can be made safer for children, as an Associate Fellow at the Cambridge Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (Institute of Technology and Humanity) and a Teaching Associate at the Department of Sociology. She recently became the first Education researcher to win the Cambridge Applied Research Award for "outstanding research with real world application" and also recently received the Cambridge Vice-Chancellor's Award for Social Impact. She was an invited speaker at the UNESCO AI and Education Forum and her work has most recently been published in the Oxford Review of Education, the British Educational Research Journal, and the Early Childhood Education Journal.
