Sustainability Manager, University of Cambridge

Rachel leads on the University’s Biodiversity Action Plan, supporting their communications and engagement work strands around sustainability, along with team management which includes delivering our Environmental Management Systems, Waste Strategy, sustainability data collection and assurance, legal compliance and compiling the University’s Environmental Sustainability Annual Report. Prior to work at the University her background was largely in the charity conservation sector, working with various Wildlife Trusts managing teams delivering outdoor learning, environmental education and visitor engagement. She also worked as an independent consultant and project manager in the heritage sector through her company Wild Play and Education.
