Dr Wade leads the Palliative Care Department in Addenbrooke's Hospital which consists of the hospital palliative care team and BIS the Breathlessness Intervention Service. She trained in medicine at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London before vocational training in General Practice. She went on to speciality training in Palliative Medicine in East Anglia rotating between Norwich and Norwich, Papworth and Cambridge hospitals together with the local hospices. Dr Wade now works at both Addenbrooke's and the West Suffolk Hospitals and is committed to high quality palliative care and improving co-ordination of care between services.
