Sarah joined Ember Climate in October 2020. She now heads up Ember’s European team, leading the overall strategy to enable Europe’s transition to a decarbonised energy system by 2035.

After a fifteen-year career in energy and commodity trading, Sarah travelled extensively working with a wide range of community organisations in diverse roles. She was involved with STOP THE TRAFFIK (STT) on a voluntary basis since 2012 and permanently joined the team from 2016 to 2020.

As Head of Research & Intelligence, she managed the collection and analysis of data and the dissemination of intelligence for STT. The role included building and maintaining information sharing partnerships and the identification and implementation of appropriate technology solutions.

STT takes an intelligence-led and evidence-based approach, which incorporates multi-sector collaboration and the delivery of targeted responses to achieve tangible and sustainable global impact.
