As Policy Officer for the Health Security and Vaccination Unit of DG SANTE, Sebastiano Lustig’s responsibilities include negotiating the European Health Union proposals and acting as a focal point for the European Commission on topics related to Health Security for the G7, G20 and OECD. Sebastiano also leads on COVID-19 policy, including non-pharmaceutical interventions.

A social policy professional by background, Sebastiano has served as a consultant for several international and governmental organisations including the OECD, NATO and GIZ.
