Responsible for government relations within ARM, Stephen recently joined from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where he was Chief Executive. Prior to joining the ICC, Stephen was head of international business development at Dyson and before that he enjoyed a long and successful career in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). His roles at the FCO included First Secretary at the British Embassy in Washington, lobbying the US Government on key foreign policy and international trade issues; director of trade promotion at the British Embassy in Warsaw, Poland; and head of the FCO United Nations Department based in London.

He was an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, did a post-graduate degree at the University of Oxford, and spent a year as a Fellow at Harvard.
