Senior Research Fellow, UCL Social Research Institute
Tim Morris is a Senior Research Fellow in Social Science Genetics at the Centre for Longitudinal Studies at the UCL Social Research Institute. He has previously held posts at the University of Bristol and the Government Office for Science. His research combines rich longitudinal social data with genetic data to investigate the formation and transmission of social inequalities in health and education, the causes and consequences of health and education, and the feasibility of using genetic data to predict individual and group level outcomes.
Tim engages with policymakers from the Department for Education and the NHS, and has contributed to reports for the Government Office for Science, the Nuffield Foundation, and the Nuffield Council on Bioethics.
