Tom Maitland is a Senior Associate in PwC’s Global Fiscal Policy team, where he provides economic consultancy services on fiscal policy, tax policy and public finance to governments, international organisations and development finance institutions.
Tom is experienced in policy appraisals and impact assessments, strategic planning, reform design and capacity building. His recent experience includes analysing the fiscal implications of a green economy transition for Kazakhstan, developing an international climate fund’s financing strategy, analysing the impact of cross-border trade in excise goods in the EU and developing a mid-term fiscal plan during a debt sustainability crisis.
Tom is a qualified accountant (ICAEW) and is currently studying towards a MSc in Quantitative Finance at the University of London. He holds an MSc in Globalisation from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA (Hons) Politics and Modern History from the University of Manchester.
