The CU European Union Society intends to promote a critical and constructive debate about the EU. Our main activities are the Cambridge European Futures Forum and the Cambridge Model European Council. The European Futures Forum will critcally re-consider the EU and actively participate in the run up to the Intergovernmental Conference of 2004. The columination of this process will be the model European Council, a simulation of which our conclusions will be shared and debated with students from all over Europe. In addition to this we organize plenty of social events including parties, European buffet evenings, films and closely co-operate with national societies.
