Marion is a University Associate Professor in Accounting. She became intrigued and passionate about public sector accounting while she was a credit rating advisor with the French investment bank Crédit Agricole CIB. This experience inspired her to undertake a PhD on Sovereign Debt Accounting.

Her research interests are in public sector accounting — and more broadly financial and international accounting, including accounting standards and accounting quality; credit rating agencies.
