CEO, Heartfelt Technologies
Dr Shamus Husheer’s background and research experience is in the physical sciences; chemistry, physics, engineering, electronics and software development. He is a technologist and inventor with a track record in Angel fundraising, rapid commercialisation of technology, and business development.
He is CEO of Heartfelt Technology, and a founder and former CTO of Cambridge Temperature Concepts, a spin-out from the University of Cambridge. Heartfelt Technology is developing a device to monitor heart failure at home, allowing on-going health data to be collected, and allowing medical intervenation before a situation becomes an emergency. Cambridge Temperature Concepts developed the product, DuoFertility, a conception aid that is proven to be as effective as IVF at a tenth of the cost. The system is based on a sophisticated version of the body basal temperature (BBT) measurement method - the small upward shift in basal body temperature which is associated with ovulation.
