Jasper Montana is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge. He works on environment-society relations with a current focus on the governance of biodiversity and ecosystem services. His research looks at expertise, policy initiatives and institutions and draws from theoretical frameworks of science and technology studies.

Prior to entering the PhD programme, Jasper Montana worked in television documentary production looking at the human-nature relationship in BBC series such as Human Planet (BBC One) and Unnatural Histories (BBC Four).

    Our Annual Conference brings together an audience of policy professionals, academic experts and business leaders for a day of talks and presentations, and to share and discuss issues and ideas on a range of topics from innovation and economic growth to climate and sustainability. Speakers from government, academia, and industry will present examples of how we are working together to address new and emerging policy challenges.
