Will is Policy Lead in the Industrial Strategy Unit at the Department for Business and Trade. Previously, he was Head of Government Relations at the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), where he ledon the strategic relationship with UK Government, Devolved Administrations, and aerospace clusters. He was previously the lead on R&D policy in the government’s Levelling Up Taskforce, a Strategy Lead at UK Research & Innovation, and a Senior Policy Advisor at the Cities and Local Growth Unit. He has a first-class degree in Modern History & International Relations at the University of St Andrews and a MA in World History from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Thouron Scholar.

    On 21 October 2021, CSaP hosted its first in-person networking event since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The annual meeting and reception, held at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London, provided an opportunity for 115 public policy professionals, industry leaders, and researchers to meet and share their experiences to improve decision-making.
