Dr Zeynep Clulow, Research Associate, Cambridge Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG), Judge Business School
Zeynep Clulow is a Research Associate in the Energy Policy Research Group at Judge Business School, Cambridge University. She is interested in the social obstacles to and opportunities for upscaling negative emissions technologies and is currently focusing on key stakeholder attitudes towards carbon dioxide removal techniques. She has a particular interest in the role of public engagement for energy transition and how perspectives from the global South can help progress dialogue surrounding the just governance of pathways to net zero. Her Economic Social Research Council (ESRC)-funded doctoral work investigated the role of instrumentalist factors and worldviews in shaping national emissions trends and state compliance with the global climate regime. Prior to joining Cambridge, she worked as a Research Fellow on a European Research Council (ERC)-funded project at Warwick University and taught modules on international theory, security and quantitative political analysis at Aston University. Her articles have been published in leading academic journals including Climate Policy, Global Environmental Change, Sustainability and Political Ideologies.
