Research Associate, Centre for the Study of Existential Risk (CSER)

Jochem works on the ‘Lessons from COVID-19’ project at CSER. He has a background in academia and has obtained his Ph.D. in International Relations within the Marie Curie Horizon 2020 European Joint Doctorate Programme GEM STONES, in which he studied regional approaches to the Responsibility to Protect. He has academic teaching experience in Political Science and International Relations at Leiden University and the University of Warwick.
