Jochen Runde is Professor of Economics & Organisation at Cambridge Judge Business School, where his research examines areas such as decision making under extreme uncertainty, institutional economics, and the ontology of technology. He is also co-editor of the Cambridge Journal of Economics, and a member of the Cambridge Social Ontology Group (CSOG).
Jochen has held a variety of roles at the University of Cambridge, including Director of the MBA at Judge Business School, and Associate Director of the Professional Practice Programme at the Cambridge-MIT Institute. Before joining Cambridge in 1990 he was a Lecturer in Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2017 he was awarded Cambridge's Pilkington Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
