Professor David Stillwell is the Academic Director of The Psychometrics Centre and a member of the e-Psychometrics Unit.
While researching for his PhD in cognitive decision-making, David founded and programmed a Facebook application called myPersonality that provides real psychological questionnaires and gives users feedback on their results. More than 6 million individuals have taken a questionnaire. He currently collaborates with researchers in different disciplines to mine the myPersonality database for interesting research findings.
He obtained his BSc in Psychology at Nottingham in 2007 before progressing to an MSc in Research Methods in 2008. He obtained his PhD in Decision Making from the School of Psychology at the University of Nottingham in December 2012.
