Jacob is a policy intern at the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) and a DPhil student in Chemical Biology at the University of Oxford funded by the Wellcome Trust. His research focuses on the development of novel antimicrobials using both medicinal chemistry and chemical biology techniques at the Ineos Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Research and the Department of Pharmacology.
Prior to starting his DPhil, Jacob worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Exeter. He holds an MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham.
