Barry Hedley is an experienced consultant and is well known internationally as a presenter and teacher on aspects of strategy, technology and implementation in a variety of forums, including business schools and top management conferences. As a consultant, he has been personally responsible for strategy work with major companies and governmental organisations in many European countries, as well as in the Americas, Africa and Asia-Pacific. He currently serves on the advisory boards of several consultancies and high technology firms.

Barry was formerly European founder and subsequently Global Chairman of Braxton Associates, the international strategy and financial consulting firm. This later became the strategy practice of Deloitte Consulting, which grew under Barry's leadership to over 1,000 people in over twenty offices worldwide.

He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), as well as his role as Director of Management Studies at Gonville and Caius College.
