Bertrand Russell Professor of Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, University of Cambridge
Prior to his current role at the University of Cambridge, Huw Price headed the Centre for Time in the School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry at the University of Sydney. The Centre for Time was established in 2002, in conjunction with an ARC Federation Fellowship awarded to Professor Price. It now supports research in the philosophy and foundations of physics, metaphysics and the philosophy of time, and the pragmatic foundations of language and thought.
Until September 2012 he is also maintaining his role as Challis Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney; where he has also previously been a Professor of Logic and Metaphysics.
Huw Price is a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, a Fellow and former Member of Council of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, and a Past President of the Australasian Association of Philosophy.
