Jeff Patmore is a mentor and advisor, and holds Industrial Fellowships in both the Engineering Design Centre and the Electric Carbon Nanomaterials Group, at the University of Cambridge.

Before joining the University in 2011 he was previously head of BT's Strategic University Research & Collaboration programme, directing programmes of work with some of the world's top academic institutions and collaborating with some of the best technology and business minds in academia. He has over 30 years industrial experience and has been responsible for some major innovations in UK communications.

He has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) since 2001, taking a keen interest in the design of new technologies and on-line services.
